Garden Club Floral Arrangement

When I create Susan's flowers, I usually create a lot at one time and work in an assembly line to complete them.    I love purple, and had a lot of purple flowers and decided to group them in one arrangement.  The Garden Notes die sets used for the flowers in this arrangement include:  Buddleia (Butterfly Bush), Brunnera, Columbine, Spider Mum, Echinacea, and Beauty Berry Bush die sets.  Nuvo  Bottle Green Crystal Drops were used on the top of the Buddleia and Nuvo Plum Pudding Crystal Drops used on the Beauty Berry Bush.

For this card I worked with the Nuvo Misted Mauve Expanding Mousse to create a small background.

The Tonic Studio Petal Pattern Stencil was taped down on a piece of white card stock.  The Nuvo Misted Mauve Expanding Mousse was spread over the stencil.  The extra mousse was scraped off and put back in the jar.  The stencil was carefully taken off and placed in water right away to be cleaned.  Since this is expanding mousse, it can be heated with a heat tool and the appearance changes.  It raises up and almost appeared to have the appearance of felt.  It was very soft to the touch.  So fun to work with!

Once the Expanding Mousse was cooled off, I used one of the Tonic Eastern Oyster Layering Dies to die cut a decorative piece.   For a backing to this piece with the mousse, the die, one size larger was used for a solid lavender background.  These layers were attached to each other using Tonic Dimensional Pads.

I have added links to Tonic Studio's products below.  If you use these links to purchase products, I will receive a small commission which helps me purchase supplies -- no additional cost to you.  I appreciate you visiting my blog and appreciate your support.

It seems your creative genius is unlimited! Knowing each flower is created by your own hands, choosing colors, shaping each petal, glueing, all to make just one flower...then you have a entire bouquet....this inspires me so much! I love the variety of lavender colors for this extremely lovely card! Thank you for filling my mailbox with such a lovely card! Have a great day! ❤️ Nancy
