Cupcakes

I love the new Joset Designs Cupcake die set to create 'generic' birthday cards.

This is a 6 inch square card.  Els van de Burgt Studio Stitched Rectangle die set was used to die cut a brown and a white rectangle.

Use the A Way With Stencil Butterflies and Stars Stencil to create the star border across the top of the white rectangle.  Sponge color through the stencil then use a VersaMark Pad to pat ink down through the stencil.  Take the stencil off and and clear emboss the stars.

Use the Celebrate and Happy Birthday dies to die cut the sentiments.

Use the Cupcake die set and die cut the paper cup using the design paper as the Celebrate sentiment.  Die cut the cupcake using a dotted design paper.  Die cut the Star pick using yellow card stock and clear emboss it.

Assemble the card as shown.

May All of Your Dreams Come True

Good Morning.  I have been busy working with all the new products from Elizabeth Craft Designs.  In the Susan's Garden Club Collection there are two new Fairy dies. There are also seven new A Way With Stencils by Suzanne Cannon that are very fun to work with.

Garden Notes Fairy - Tiger Lily

I used the Garden Notes Fairy - Tiger Lily die set to die cut all the pieces for this beautiful fairy.  Distress Inks were sponged on to color all the pieces.  The Lily petals were covered with Silk Microfine Glitter and attached to her waist.  The wings were die cut with a piece of white card stock that had Clear Double Sided Adhesive on top.   The wings were covered with Cool Diamond Silk Microfine Glitter and colored with  a very light Blue Copic Marker.

A Way With Stencils - Butterflies and Stars

To create the background, a piece of white card stock was cut 5 3/4 inches square to fit on front of this 6 inch square card.  The Butterflies and Stars Stencil was taped across the front of this piece of card stock. A VersaMark Ink pad was patted over the Butterflies.  Remove the Stencil and cover with Detail White Embossing Powder and heat.  Sponge on blue, purple and yellow inks on the top of the card.  Wipe off any ink on the embossed butterflies.  Sponge green ink on the bottom of the card.

Dream Sentiments

Use the Dream Sentiments stamp set and chose the sentiment of your choice.   Stamp using black ink at the bottom of the card.

Leafy Branch 5

Use the new ModaScrap Leafy Branch 5 die set and die cut one branch out of white card stock.  Cut it apart and attach to the upper left corner.

To complete the card, tiny yellow confetti was glued coming out of the lantern.  I added a string to the lantern before attaching to the card.

There are a lot of new products now available and many more in the Coming Soon section in the Elizabeth Craft Store.  Be sure to check out all the new products.
