3-D Envelope with Easel-Magnolia & Star Jasmine

On Susan's FaceBook Live this week, she demonstrated how to create a 3-D Envelope with Easel.  Following her instructions, this is the envelope I created.

I used pink cardstock for the box envelope and decorated it with P-13- The Four Seasons, P-13 design paper.  Under the arrangement, I added a circle die cut using Spellbinders Elegant Twist Circle die set

I wanted to try and duplicate the design in the design paper so I use Susan's new Southern Magnolia die set for the Magnolia.  It was die cut using Susan's Specialty Cardstock.  The flower was colored using OLO R 58, and R 5.3 markers.  In the center I added a bright pink PanPastel.  The leaves were die cut using watercolor paper, colored with OLO markers and clear glaze added.

For the small flowers, I used Susan's Star Jasmine die set.  Three Jasmine branches were created.

Usually I use Susan's Berry Branch when adding berries to a project, but today I wanted to copy the berry branch in the design paper so I used her large branch and added pink berries.  In the design paper there are small leaves so I used one of the branches in the Victorian Garden Foliage die set. the leaves were colored an cut off the stem and individually glued to my new berry branch.

On of Susan's stamps was used for the quote

An easel was added to the back of the envelope so it can be displayed.

Fern Glimmer Plate with Magnolia and Carolina Allspice

For my card today, I used Susan's new Fern Glimmer Ferns Glimmer Hot Plate from Spellbinders.  It was gold foiled, using Spellbinders Glimmer Machine,  onto a piece of Spellbinders Graphite Color Essentials card stock. Scrapbook.com has a great sale on the glimmer machine right now.   For added interest to the background, I used Altenew's Metallic Antique Gold Ink Spray, lightly misting it on the cardstock.  Along the bottom, I added three narrow gold Metallic cardstock strips to add additional gold to the card.

Susan's Southern Magnolia die set was used to die cut the magnolia from Susan's Specialty Cardstock.  It was shaped using Susan's Flower Tool Kit and assembled using Beacon Kids Choice GlueClear Crystal Glaze was added to the Magnolia leaves.

Using Susan's Carolina Allspice die set, two branches of flowers were created.  They were die cut using Susan's Cardstock and colored using OLO markers.

A Gold cording was added at the base of the Southern Magnolia.

Camellia and Dogwood

Good Morning.  Today I have a card designed using Susan's Camellia die set from Spellbinders Victorian Garden Release.

This is a 5x7 inch card.  I used the retired Becca Feeken, Candlewick Lace Card Front die for the die cut background.  It was backed with pink cardstock.

Susan's Camellia die set was used to create one pink flower.  It was die cut using Susan's Specialty Cardstock.  I used OLO markers to color it, then shaped the petals using Susan's Flower Tool Kit.

Susan's Dogwood die set was used to create the dogwood flowers.  They were also die cut using Susan's Specialty Cardstock, shaped with the tools in her Flower tool Kit and green Prills added to the center

From the Victorian Garden Foliage die set, the lemon verbena was die cut using watercolor paper and colored using OLO markers.

Susan has included a ladybug die in many different die sets.  One was die cut, colored and added to a leaf.  Nuvo Clear Clear Crystal Glaze was added to her for a shiny shell.
