Autumn Wall Hanging

It is fun to create different things using Susan's Garden Notes Die sets.  The flower dies are perfect for creating cards, wall hanging, decorating boxes, and more.

Today I decided to create an Autumn Wall Hanging.  The frame is 12 inches square.  In the center of the mat was a die cut opening.  There was a picture in that opening which I thought was perfect for the scene I was creating, so I glued it to the back of the frame mat.

I used Suzanne Cannon's Four Seasons die set for the Autumn sentiment.  It was die cut using a rust card stock and glued to the upper right corner.

The Garden Notes Galvanized Bucket was used for the container for the floral arrangement.  A piece of the Through The Lens Stone cardstock was used to cover the bucket.  It was attached to the left side of the die cut opening.

The Leafy Branch die set was used to die cut several branches.  They were colored and shaped with the Flower Tool Kit and attached to the upper left corner.

The Garden Notes Berry Spray was die cut using brown card, twice.  The berries were created using Nuvo Autumn Red Crystal Drops.  These branches were prepared prior to working on this project, so the berries would be dry.  The berry branches were cut apart and attached over the leafy branch.

The Garden Notes Ladder Fern was die cut three times, colored in autumn colors and arranged in the bucket.

The Garden Notes Sunflower die set was used for the flowers.  The flowers were colored, and shaped using the Flower Tool Kit.  They were assembled using the Tonic Tacky  Glue.  Brown Pollen was used in the center of the flowers.

Three pumpkins were die cut using the Pumpkin die set.  Color was sponged on.  They were arranged to the right of the flower arrangement.

Susan's Woodland Leaves die set was used to create a bunch of autumn leaves. A piece of Ranger's Yupo Paper was used for the leaves. A variety of  Autumn colors of Alcohol Inks were used to color the Yupo Paper, then the leaves were die cut.  They were shaped using the Flower Tool Kit and attached around the bottom of the arrangement.

I hope I gave you inspiration to create something other than a card using Susan's Garden Notes die sets.
