Sunflowers
I made this card for a challenge on StampTV hosted by Dawn. You are to use Sunflowers. The sunflowers I am using are from "A Year of Flowers" available from Gina K Designs.
I started the card by layering a piece of Back Country designer paper from "The Paper Loft" on the front of the card. I then used my Labels I Nestabilities to cut two frames; one in Night of Navy and the top is Gina K's Pure Luxury "Soft Sand" card stock. Each layer is put on Dimensionals.
The sunflowers and leaves were stamped with Memento black ink on glossy card stock. I used sponge daubers to color. I used Summer Sun and Pumpkin Spice on the flowers and Always Artichoke on the leaves. They were all cut out. I used SU corduroy brads in the center of each flower and attached them to the card with dimensionals. The upper corners looked a little bare, so I cut out some corners with a Sizzix die. They were to large for this card, so I trimmed them down to fit.
My daughter brought me a box of apricots so now I am off to make some jam.
