Another Challenge
On StampTV, Melanie is hosting a color challenge to use black, green and white. I decided to use one of the leaves from the last StampTV Kit "Signs of Autumn" for my stamped design. I found this green background paper and went from there. The leaves were stamped using Memento black ink onto Wild Wasabi card stock and sponged with the same ink to give it some highlight. The leaves were then cut out.
The white frame was created by cutting a piece of white card stock 3 inches square then centering one of the Martha Stewart punches on each side to create the lacy border. I also created a strip for the middle of the card using the same punch. This card fits in a business size envelope. Classic square Nestabilities was used to make the three black background frames. They fit perfectly inside the white frames. The leaves were mounted using dimensional tape. Some black rhinestones were added to dress it up a little as well as some paper piercing on each corner.
Thanks for stopping by. Enjoy the rest of your weekend.
Edit: I just found out yesterday was my friend's birthday. Happy Belated Birthday Joan.
