Good Morning. Boy yesterday was kind of a wild day. We had many thunder storms going through our area and we lost our electricity for most of the afternoon. We needed the rain but I don't like the lightening. I was a little worried wondering if I was going to be able to bake my husband's birthday cake. I did get it baked and decorated before his party.
The above card was made with one of the new JustRite stamp sets called "Autumn Blessings". This set has 6 stamps plus 6 interchangeable borders. I purchased this set from Joan's Gardens.
I used the Cuttlebug Argyle embossing folder for the top portion of the background and a piece of designer paper out of my scrap bin . . . I think it might be SU. I stamped the design using the "Autumn Blessings" border and colored it using Copic markers. I chalked the background with yellow. It was cut out with Classic Oval Nestabilities and mounted on a Real Red scalloped oval. For the border across the middle, I cut a narrow strip of Real Red card stock and scored it a couple of times on my ScorPal. The three leaves are brads and were added to give it a little more feeling of Autumn.
Thanks for stopping by my blog.

How did you find the justrite stamper to work with? I bought a couple about a month ago to get me started and so far have only used them once - I need to play with them a bit.
