The time is almost here. My neighbor is going to have her baby in a few weeks and I will be going to her baby shower. When Melanie's new stamp set "Wee Tees" came out, I knew it would be the perfect set to make a baby card. I actually made this card back in May but have not posted in on my blog yet. I have not made baby cards for a very long time so this one was a lot of fun to work on.
Since this is a "boy" baby card, I used three retired pieces of SU designer paper in pale blue for the background. The onesie was white embossed and cut out. I used my Peerless Watercolors to achieve a tie-dye look. The little dinosaur was perfect for a little boy card. I mounted the onesie on 3 mats, Bashful Blue, Certainly Celery, and Barely Banana. I used my rectangle Nestablities for the two top frames. I have had the cute little baby embellishments in my "stash" for years and thought this was the perfect time to use them. I used some celery velvet rick rack across the middle border.
I'm looking forward to going to this baby shower with my granddaughters next weekend.
Today I am going to spend time with my daughter. We are going to a movie then will go shopping. I always love to spend time with her.

This is such a sweet card, and I love the embellishments you used. Great choice of colors for a new Baby Boy.

One of my goals for the next week is to creat baby boy cards.... I always end up making for girls and I could have sold a dozen for boys over the last couple of weeks. This is so sweet, Selma! I love the added embellishments! The little dino, rocks.
