Tonight I am posting a card made with another Stampavie stamp. This one is called Bobby and Me by Penny Johnson. This is another stamp set from Joan's Gardens. Isn't this little boy and his dog the cutest!
The image was stamped and colored with Koh-i-noor colored pencils and OMS. I paper pieced his sweater. A Martha Stewart punch was used for the grass, punch available from Joan's Gardens. I hope I didn't over-embellish this card. I have had these cute dog embellishments and decided to use them. For the background, a piece of Basic Grey dp was cut on the diagonal then a piece of embossed Tangerine Tango piece added on the other side. The greeting was stamped then cut out with a petite oval Nestie and sponged with Tangerine Tango ink.
Hope you like this card.

Over-embellish? Is that a word?? I don't think you can over-embellish a card, it's beautiful! Don't second guess yourself - you did a great job!! Hugs!!
Selma,
Don't know if my comments will come through or not because I am having problems with that, but the little boy and his puppy are so darn cute. I don't think you over embellished at all. I love the bone you included and the Woof. Very cute card.

Not over embellished at all. You have used just enough to give the impression of the outdoors. I love it!

Selma, how cute!! Your embellishments add a lot to the image, so it is not over done. I like how you paper pieced the sweater too. Great job!!
