Hello Sunshine

Autumn is not far away and I have a card designed using Susan's Garden Notes Sunflowers and Joset's Pumpkin die sets.

Here are the instructions:

Step 1.  Use a 6-inch white square card.

Step 2.  Cut a piece of Chocolate Soft Finish Cardstock 5 3/4 inches square and distress the edges.  Attach to the front of the card.

Step 3.  Use the Garden Notes Frame It/Stitched Circle die set to create an opening on the upper left side of the brown square.  Use the 6th die down for this circle.

Step 4.  Use the 5th down Dashing Circle die and the 6th down Garden Notes Frame It/Stitched Circle to die a narrow frame from Cafe-au-Late  Soft Finish card stock.  Attach the die cut frame over the opening in the brown card stock.

Step 5.  Use a 4-inch piece of watercolor paper to create a backing under the die cut circle.  Add Gathered Twigs, Pine Needles, and Wild Honey Distress Oxide Inks to your craft mat, spritz with water and dip the watercolor paper in to color the entire piece.  Dry with heat tool and attach on the back of the die cut opening.  Attach this square to the front of the card.

Step 6.  Use the Pumpkin die set and die cut two tall and one short pumpkins, and the stems, leaves and vines using white Soft Finish Cardstock.  To color the pumpkins sponge on Wild Honey, Spiced Marmalade, and Carved Pumpkin Distress Oxide Inks.  Sponge on lightest color first ending by sponging on darkest color last around the edges.  Sponge Pine Needles Distress ink on leaves, stems and vines.  Glue green pieces to pumpkins.

Step 7.  Use the Garden Notes Berry Spray to die cut two berry sprays using brown card stock.  Use Autumn Red Nuvo Crystal drops for the berries.  Set aside to dry.

Step 8.  Use the Leafy Branch die set to die cut three green branches.  Lightly sponge rust ink over edges of leaves.  Use a light brown marker to color the center of each branch.

Step 9.  Use the Garden Notes Sunflower 2 die set to create three sunflowers.  Use yellow card stock to die cut the flower petals and color the center using the yellow orange PanPastels.  Shape the flowers using Susan's Flower Tool Kit.  Assemble the flowers using Kids Choice glue.  Add small dots of glue over the center of the flowers and sprinkle on Brown Pollen.

Step 10.  Use the CountryScapes Nantucket Arbor & Picket Fence die set and die cut one white fence.

Assemble the die cut pieces to the card front as shown.

Selma,
It's beautiful. I love the shading on the pumpkins. And those sunflowers make we want to grab the bundle and soak up the sunshine!
