Bougainvillea

This card was designed using Susan's new Garden Notes Bougainvillea die set.

Use a 6-inch square card  Cover the front with a piece of the ModaScrap Cucina With Love pink card stock.

Use the Romantic Corners die set and die cut 4 of the smaller corners.  Trim down and attach to each corner of the card.

Create two ovals using the Dotted Scallop Oval die set.  Attach them together using dimensional tape.  Attach to the center of the card.  Before attaching the ovals together, usie the General Sentiments stamp set and stamp the sentiment on the right side of the smaller oval, as shown.

Use the Garden Notes Bougainvillea die set and create 12 flowers.  I used hot pink vellum for the flowers.  I liked using the vellum for the flowers because it looks similar to real bougainvillea petals, however, you can use regular card stock. Press the little white flowers that are on the tips of the stamens, using a green fine point pen, to shape them.   Attach the flowers and leaves along the left side of the ovals.

The Garden Notes Bougainvillea die set also comes with a branch, which I did not use on this card.
