Yellow/Pink Foamiran Rose

I hope you are enjoying your holiday weekend.  Today I have a card with another rose I created using Foamiran.  I purchase my Foamiran from Scrap and Craft in Ireland.  At Elizabeth Craft Designs you will find a large selection of the Susan's Garden Club flower dies that can be used to die cut the Foamiran for beautiful flowers.  The petals were die cut using white Foamiran then colored using Susan's PanPastels. Susan has three different sets of PanPastels available at Elizabeth Craft Designs.  Links are below.  The PanPastels blend so well on the foam for a very natural appearance.   Susan's 4 pc Flower Tool Kit was used to help shape the petals and the Leaf Tool and Pad used to draw the details on the green leaves. The leaves were die cut using a light green Foamiran.  The detail was drawn on then were sponged using a dark green PanPastel .  A little dark red PanPastel was sponged around the edges of the leaves.

For the card I used Els van de Burgt Studio Dotted Scallop Circle die set.  In the upper corner, two ModaScrap Romantic Corner die cut corners were added.

Hi Selma,

This rose is beautiful. Looks real.

I never heard of foamiran. I asked the lady of our craftshop about it, but she does not know it either.

I saw we can order it in England. But shipping is expensive.

But maybe I'll buy it anyway.

Hugs,

Erna

Oh my goodness Selma! Your rose is breath-taking. Reminds me of the Peace hybrid tea rose, aka Rosa 'Madame A. Meilland', my Mother used to grow in her rose garden. I have not used Foamarian nor pan pastels before, but you have shown me these are products that I must try. Your knowledge of flowers and your accomplishment of forming real-life flowers in mixed media are always stunning. Thank you for the "eye candy" this morning. Wishing you a Happy 4th of July.

What a fabulous rose that you have created Selma, I can almost smell the fragrance. I like several others have not tried this foamiran or the pan pastels but what you have created using them is gorgeous. Only nature good do a better job.
