Hydrangeas

Hydrangeas are one of my favorite flowers.  The flowers on this card were created using the Garden Notes Hydrangea die set from Elizabeth Craft Designs.

This is a 6-inch card.  A piece of white cardstock was cut 5 1/2 inches square and scored around the edges using the Score-Pal, then attached to the card front.  Use a piece of design paper and die cut a rectangle using the Dotted Scallop Rectangle die set.  Attach across the top of the card, as shown.  (I used a piece of design paper in my scrap stash and do not know the know of it.)

Use the sentiment in the GinaK Design Inspiring Poppies stamp set and stamp using black ink in the lower right corner.

Use the Garden Notes Gathering Basket die set and die cut one basket.  Use cocoa ink then shade with bronze metallic rub on paste.  Attach to the bottom left corner of the card.

Use the Garden Notes Ladder Fern die set and die cut 5 ferns, using white card stock then sponge on green inks.  Attach inside the basket.

Use the Garden Notes Ivy Vine die set and die cut two large ivy pieces.  Color the ivy using dark green on the edges and light green in the center of each leaf.  Shape with the tools in the Flower Tool Kit.  Cut the pieces in half and arrange as shown.

Use the Garden Notes Berry Branch and die cut two branches.  Use purple Nuvo Crystal Drops to create the berries.  Be sure berries are dry before adding branches to the arrangement.

Use the Garden Notes Hydrangea die set and create one white, one pink and one lavender flower.  Use light green PanPastels to color center of white flowers.  Shape the flowers using the Flower Tool Kit and use Kids Choice Glue to glue each flower down.  Attach to the arrangement, as shown.

Use a light gray marker to shade around the base of the basket.

Use the A Way With Words Butterflies and Stars Sprays die set to die cut the butterflies.  Use one of the die cut butterflies to place above the sentiment.  Color as desired.

This card can be mailed in one of the Clear Acrylic Boxes from Elizabeth Craft Designs.

Hi Selma, You are still by far
the best designer and I follow
everything you do.
I’ve been trying to purchase
the dies to make cards like
yours. I’ve gotten quite a
few so far. Money is what’s
stopping me from just buying
everything I see. Thanks for
sharing this gorgeous card
and I’ll wish you a belated
Happy Easter!!
Love from 🇨🇦 Dana
