Today I have a bright cheery card for you.
This is a 6-inch card.
To create a bright background for these flowers, I used a piece of 100 lb White Soft Finish Cardstock cut slightly smaller than the card. Brusho orange and red powders were used to create the colorful background. Susan has instructions on how to do this on her Susan's Garden Club Facebook page.
The Kaleidoscope Background die set was used to die cut one piece out of white card stock. It was attached to the top portion of the card front.
Use the Fashionable Phrases Clear Stamp Set for the Sentiment. Stamp it on the lower left corner using VersaFine Black Ink and clear emboss.
To create the flowers, use Susan's Garden Notes Day Lily die set. When you use 100 lb weight card stock, it helps the petals hold their shape. Use Susan's Flower Tool Kit to shape the flowers and leaves. The stamens in the flowers were cut in half using the Elizabeth Craft Designs Fine Pointed Scissors and Pollen added to the tips.
For the ivy, the Garden Notes Ivy die set was used. It was cut in pieces to place behind the flower arrangement.
Use the Garden Notes Maidenhair Fern die set to die cut several ferns.
Arrange the Day Lilies, ferns and ivy over the Kaleidoscope Background as shown.
Use a clear acrylic box for mailing this card.
