We have had either snow or freezing rain every day since the middle of December. I am so ready for Spring!
Today I used Els van de Burgt Studio Fitted and Stitched Circle Frames to die cut a narrow frame. It was attached to a light blue card front.
I die cut the Love Birds and colored the die cut with markers. To create a Spring tree, Susan's Wisteria Vine die set was used to die cut the small pink flowers that were glued to the branches.
The A Way With Words 4-Seasons die set was used to die cut 'Spring' out of white and turquoise card stock. The two die cut were attached. If you use Clear Double Sided Adhesive on the back of the card stock before die cutting, it is very easy to attach the die cuts together.
Susan's Garden Notes Bugs & Butterflies die set was used to die cut the 4 butterflies. They were attached within the circle frame.
The Corners 1 and Bead Strings 1 die sets were used to die cut the corners in the upper corners, and the border along the bottom of the card. Turquoise Glitter Peel Off Sticker Dots were used on these die cuts.
It will be a while before we see the robins, butterflies and flowering trees, but it was fun to create this Spring card.
