Good Morning. This is the card I designed for my design team post at Elizabeth Craft Designs. I love summertime and all the beautiful flowers. Since this is the first day of Summer, I have a yard scene created using Susan's CountryScapes Nantucket Arbor & Picket Fence dies with flowers along the fence. The pink flowers were created with Susan's new Garden Edges Rose Hedge dies.
The tall purple flowers were created using the flower dies from Susan's new CountryScapes Wisteria Vine. Branches (shown in middle of this photo) were die cut using the Els van de Burgt Flourishes & Branches die set. For the leaves, one Leafy Branch was die cut. The leaves were shaped using Susan's Flower Tool Kit before each leaf was cut off the stems. The little purple flowers were shaped with the small ball stylus from Susan's Tool Kit, then glued on the top portion of the branches. I have used two shades of purple card stock for the flowers to give the flower texture. The flowers were glued half way down each branch, then single leaves added to the stem.
The dog was die cut from Susan's CountryScapes Critters 3 die set. The color was sponged on. Four yellow butterflies were die cut using the smallest butterfly in the Garden Notes Bugs & Butterflies die set. Two clouds from Joset Design Rainbow Sky die set were attached on the right side. The A Way With Words "Summer" die cut was added to the left side.
You can check out my post on the Elizabeth Craft Designs Blog and will find links to all the products used.
