By the Sea

I was recently asked to participate in Tombow’s newest program, Sticky U!   I love Tombow products and was excited to join in on the fun. I now have a new favorite adhesive called Tombow Xtreme High Performance Adhesive.  When I design, I always love to add a lot of dimensional items such as flowers that I create, many layers of die cuts and embellishments. Rather than just complete a card,  I put the new Xtreme Permanent Adhesive to the real test on this dimensional project to see if it would hold even the hydrangeas that are created on half a Styrofoam ball.

For my Sticky U Project I designed a home decor piece, which is mounted to a 12"x12" canvas frame.  The design paper in the background is from Webster's Pages.  The two small framed pieces and the "By the Sea" sentiment are from the Graphic 45 "By the Sea" 8x8 inch design paper pad.

The Webster's Pages Design paper had beautiful hydrangea flowers around the lighthouse, so keeping with the theme, I created a variety of dimensional flowers using my Susan's Garden flower dies:  they include the Lilac, Hydrangea, and Blackeyed Susan flowers on the framed piece.  Next to the framed piece, there are other Susan's Garden flowers I have created.

There are a variety of other embellishments from my stash on this project, and all were attached using the Tombow Xtreme Adhesive

You can see other projects competed by designers participating in the Sticky U program on the Tombow Blog.

Thank you Tombow for inviting me to participate in this fun Sticky U program.

Beautiful card. Sounds like this adhesive is really strong, I'll have to try it.
