A Pretty Card and a Thank You

Yesterday I was catching up on some of my blog reading and found this gorgeous card I would like to share with you.  It was created by one of my blogging friends, Carol West (CraftinGranny's Card Shack) and I did ask permission to post it on my blog.  You know how much I love working with Cheery Lynn Dies and Heartfelt Creations stamps - well those are the products Carol used on this card and it really caught my attention.   I wanted to share it with you, in case you didn't see it on Carol's blog.  Here is the link to this card so you can see Carol's post and while you are there, you will want to check out all the other beautiful work she has posted.   Hope you enjoy seeing this card as much as I did.

ON ANOTHER NOTE:  I don't know if you remember me asking for cards to be sent to my neighbor who was diagnosed with cancer and going through a lot of treatment. Some of you sent Dick Montgomery a card, and I want to thank you, because it did mean a lot to me.  It also meant the world to Dick and his wife.  This is a portion of the thank you note I just received from them:

Selma
Thank you for sharing your gift of making cards to the world, and in return, to us.  The cards brought huge smiles to Dick when he was so sick, and also to those that visited him.  It was truly a gift of love from those people who are otherwise strangers.  Their time, talents and words of encouragement have brought Dick home.  Love, Pat

It touches my heart to go over and see all the beautiful cards you took the time to send.  It is amazing how much joy and hope each card gave to this family and I thank you from the bottom of my heart.  We weren't sure how much time Dick had, but the good news is, that after this treatment, he will have about a year left to be with us. Thanks again for your kindness.
