Have you ever had an amaryllis at Christmas time? I never have but I think they are so pretty. Joan sent me this pretty Penny Black "Amaryllis" (40-078) stamp and I thought it would be very pretty with the new Cheery Lynn "Large Sunflower Doily" (DL181). The dark green background was embossed with the Sizzix "Botanicals" (657137) embossing folder. The sentiment is from an older JustRite stamp set "Simple Blessings" and was die cut with one of the Spellbinders "Fancy Tags Two" dies. The sentiment reads "Live Simply, Love Generously, Speak Kindly, Care Deeply, Leave the rest to God". The amaryllis was stamped with Memento Black ink and colored with Copic markers. It was "fussy" cut and then attached with dimensional dots. Gold Stickles was added to the stamens and potting soil. A green bow was added to complete the card.
All the items shown in "bold" can be purchased from Joan's Gardens. She does have a good supply of the Penny Black Amaryllis and the new Cheery Lynn Large Sunflower Doily.
Tomorrow it will be time for a new Joan's Gardens Weekly Challenge. See you then.

Selma this was one of my favorite stamps at CHA because I bought an Amaryllis for my Mom almost every Christmas. You certainly did it justice and your card is so gorgeous.
