More Heartfelt Creations Flowers

 

Today I have a style of card I have not posted before.  I found this piece of pink card stock in my paper supply that I had previously cut and scored it, so decided to use it.  For the life of me I can't think of the name of this type card. I thought maybe it was called stair step but couldn't find it in my search at SCS.  EDIT:  This type card is called "Center Step" card. 

On the side panels I added a strip of stripped design paper from the Echo Park Paper "Dots & Stripes" paper pad.  For the front panel I used the Sizzix "Birds and Wreath" embossing folder and cut around the embossed design with scissors.  It was attached with foam dots.  For the background on this embossed piece I die cut the Heartfelt Creations "Bella Rose" flourish.  The leaves on both the embossed piece, and the die cut, were colored with chalk pencils.  Oh, I forgot to tell you that there is a matching stamp for that die -- "Bella Rose Leaves PreCut Set".  I wanted to white emboss the leaves to match the flowers, so I  used a VersaMark pen and added ink to the leaves on the stamp.  The die cut flourish was placed, face down, over the stamp and using my fingers pressed the VersaMark ink onto the leaves. They were then white embossed.  I also drew lines on the leaves in the embossed piece to resemble veins and white embossed them. 

I love the variety of flowers you can create with the stamps from the Heartfelt "Botanical Floral" collection.  I used only the smallest flower this time.  It was white embossed on white card stock 15 times.  A sponge dauber was used to color the flowers with a very light pink ink.  They were all cut out with the matching Spellbinder "Rose Creations" dies. All flowers were shaped with the Flower Tool Kit then three flowers were layered to create dimensional flowers.  A white pearl was added to the center. 

For the side panels I added a Marianne Designs "Garden Branch".  The white flowers on this vine were created with the small daisy punch.  Pink pearls were added to the small flower centers. Along the bottom of the card I used the ScorPal to emboss lines 1/4" apart and added pearls.
