I love working with Heartfelt Creations stamps. You know I always love to create dimensional flowers and that is so easy with all the Heartfelt Creations flowers because they have matching Spellbinder dies. The flowers I used today are from the "Tropical Floral Swirls PreCut Set", and "Botanical Floral 2 PreCut Set". These stamps are from the just released "Botanical Garden Collection". The Floral Swirl was stamped and colored with Copic markers. It was cut out using the Nestability Labels Six die then embossed with the Cuttlebug Swiss Dots embossing folder. The piece was sponged with Tim Holtz Tea Die Distress Ink. Additional flowers from the Botanical Floral set were stamps, colored with Copics and cut out with the matching Spellbinder "Rose Creations" Shapabilities. The edges of the petals were sponged with a darker burgundy ink for shading. The stamens were created using punches. The large stamen created using the large punched sun and the other two smaller flowers have a stamen created with the medium sun. Black Flower Soft was added to the center of each stamen.
The design paper used is from the "Botanical" Collection 6x6" paper pack - one of the many new paper packs available from Joan's Gardens. Two Spellbinders "Parisian Accents" were die cut and sponged with Distress Ink. A piece of trim was added along the bottom of the card. It was not exactly the color I wanted, so some of the Tea Die Distress Ink was sponged over it to help it blend in with the other tans on the card. A few pearls and a burgundy bow were added to complete the card.
As you know, all products I use can be purchased from Joan's Gardens.
