Winter Wonderland

Today I have a fun Christmas card.  As soon as I saw the JustRite "Whimsical Christmas" stamp set, this card came to mind with this cute little guy.  I used the Cuttlebug "Winter House" embossing folder and the Cuttlebug snowflake border.  I don't think it shows in the photo, but I tore three layers of card stock and layered them to resemble snow drifts below the houses, then added some Polar White Flower Soft to them.  A small amount of Flower Soft was added to the roofs of the houses too.  Glitter was added to the snowflakes on the side border.  The Winter Wonderland border and one of the snowflakes, also from the Whimsical Christmas set, were white embossed.  The little bird was stamped with Memento black ink and colored with Copic markers then cut out.  The stamp includes some cute whimsical swirls around him but for this card I cut them off.

Have a great weekend.

With the heat we have been having, seeing a snowflake was fun! Nice use of the two embossing folders. Very pretty!
