Tonight I decided to make a card with masking and sponging. This card is not picking up all the beautiful yellow sponged all over the card. I usually take my pictures during the day when I get a lot of natural sunlight. I have taken about 6 pictures trying to get true color to show up and this is the best one.
First I stamped the pumpkins from, Gina K's "Signs of Autumn" stamp set, with Vivid brown ink and colored with Copic markers. I then masked them and stamped the dried grass, also from this set, and a retired SU vine. I heavily sponged on So Saffron ink, some Really Rust and a little Chocolate Chip ink over the edge of the design. The verse is from Gina's "Thanks A Million" stamp set. It was cut out with a petite oval Nestabilities. It was sponged with Really Rust before taking it out of the die then sponged all over with So Saffron. Two die cut corners were added and also sponged with So Saffron Ink. The design was attached to a piece of Gina's Pumpkin Spice card stock. The card base is a blank black card I have had for a long time. Can you see the embossing around the edge? I added brass sticker brads I purchased from Gina K to each corner.

Such a striking card - I think it's the sponging cause I had the same "OH MY" reaction to this one that I have when I look at some of Theresa's work. Just deeeeelightful! Just like you!!!
