Alstroemeria

Alstroemeria Flowers are so pretty!  These flowers come in many different colors but I chose to create a color Susan used in one of her Garden Club videos.

Create the background by using the Dotted Scallop Rectangle and Dashing Rectangle die set.

The flowers were created using Susan's Garden Notes Alstroemeria die set.  The pieces were die cut using 100 lb white card stock and colored using Copic Markers.  The petals and leaves were shaped using the Flower Tool Kit.  Pollen was used on the tips of the stamens.

Use the Garden Notes Ostrich Fern die set and die cut four ferns for foliage behind the arrangement.

Use the Garden Notes Hydrangea die set to die cut the small white flowers.  Add yellow Prills to the center of each flower.

Use the Dancing Butterfly die set to die cut the Dusky Blue butterfly.  Use a black marker to color the body and antennas.  Use a white opaque pen to draw white lines coming from the body out on the wings.

Attach the Ferns, Alstroemeria, and small white flowers as shown, on the lower left corner of the card.  Attach the butterfly with a small piece of dimensional tape.
