Today I have a card with flowers created with Garden Notes Clematis dies.
This is a 6-inch card. The background was created by die cutting a piece of white card stock using the Sizzix #661186 die set. The Scor-Pal was used to score a line around the edge of this piece. A piece of green card stock was attached to the back of the die cut, then attached to the front of the card.
Three sets of clematis petals were die cut using pink card stock. The center of each petal was brushed with a darker pink for shading, shaped with flower tools and the layers glued together. The stamens were die cut using yellow card stock and a burgundy marker used to color the tips. The leaves were die cut using white card stock and two shades of green ink were brushed on, then shaped. The flowers were arranged in the lower right corner.
GinaK Designs StampnFoil Foil-Mates were used for the butterfly and the sentiment. The Foil-Mates butterfly was stamped over using black ink, foiled, then die cut using the matching die. Both the butterfly and the sentiment were foiled using Wild Lilac foil. It is hard to see the beautiful foiling in the photo. The sentiment was die cut using the Dashing Circles die set.
This card will mail nicely in one of the clear acrylic boxes.
