Love You Valentine

There are so many ways to use Els van de Burgt Studio Heart dies  Today I have a romantic card created with the Stitched and Fitted Hearts.  As a Valentine Day tradition, I decorated the card with Susan's Garden Notes Rose 3 flowers.

This is a 6-inch card.  A piece of vanilla card stock was distressed along the edges and sponged with Tea Dye Distress Ink, then attached to a gray card front.

Two Stitched Hearts were die cut using design paper and one Fitted Heart die cut using vanilla card stock.  The three hearts were attached together and centered on the card front.

One Lace Heart was die cut out of white card stock was used under the lower left edge of the hearts.  I only used the lacy part of this heart.

Petals, to create three red roses and three buds, were die cut, using Garden Notes Rose 3 dies.  The lower portion of each petal was sponged with the dark red PanPastel in Susan's PanPastel Kit 3, to give the roses shading.  Susan's Flower Tool Kit was used to shape the flowers.  Roses usually come with Baby's Breath in a pretty bouquet, so I used Susan's Garden Notes Queen Ann's Lace die set to create the baby's breath under the roses.

The Els van de Burgt Love Sentiment die set was used to die cut the sentiment, using Soft Finish White Cardstock.

For extra embellishment, I added white net and pearls.

You can always create beautiful cards when you use the Elizabeth Craft Designs products.
