Christmas Cardinal

Good Morning.  Today I have worked with two new products from Elizabeth Craft Designs, along with some of my favorite Susan's Garden Notes dies

The cardinal is a new Petroschi Designs by Bianca stamp.  Isn't it beautiful.  Elizabeth Craft has two new Soft Finish Cardstocks; one is 85lb and the other is 100lb. One side is a soft texture and the other side is a smooth surface.  It is beautiful cardstock.  I stamped the cardinal on a piece of the 85lb soft finish on the texture side, then colored the image with Copic Markers.  The color blended so beautifully.  For the bells, I stamped the image on shinny gold card stock and cut out the bells and glued them over the main image.  I know it doesn't show in this photo, but it turned out very pretty.

I had a problem deciding which way I wanted to complete this card.  I had a piece of plaid ribbon I used for guidance in coloring the ribbon in the stamped image.  I created a bow with it then couldn't decide where I liked it best on the card, so I took a picture of the card with the plaid bow in the two areas I was trying to decide on.  I think I like the bow on the bottom.  Where do you think I should permanently place the bow?

The red poinsettia was created using Susan's Garden Notes Poinsettia.  Below it I have placed some of the Garden Notes Whitepine Bough and a few Garden Notes Holiday Holly. To tie in with the gold bells, I added a bow made with gold cording.   At the bottom of the card, I die cut one of the Ribbons & Jewels Borders.  The small poinsettias were created with the flower die in the CountryScapes Backyard 4 die set.
