For my card today I have coordinated the older Heartfelt Creations "Dutch Iris" stamps and dies with the new "Sunny Day Collection" design paper. I love collecting Heartfelt Creations stamps, dies and coordinating design paper because the "older" and the "new" products always coordinate together to give you endless ideas for creating new beautiful projects.
I love this Heartfelt Creations Iris. My favorite color of iris is yellow and purple. I used the "Dutch Iris Oval Precut Cut" to stamp the main image, then stamped and die cut pieces from the "Dutch Iris Medley PreCut Set" to make the iris dimensional. Chalks were used to color the image. Joan's Gardens has a supply of the Dutch Iris stamps and dies in stock.
To frame the iris, I used two of the Spellbinders "Labels Twenty" dies to create a frame. I think you all know I love butterflies and had to coordinate this iris with the beautiful piece of of design paper from the, new "Sunny Day Collection" 12x12 inch design paper pad . The green outside frame for this card was created using the Martha Stewart "Floral Border/Corner" punch set. The sentiment is from the Heartfelt Creations "Botanical Oval" stamp set. A pretty yellow silk bow was added to complete the card.
I'm sure you would all love to win a $25 gift certificate to be given away by Heartfelt Creations, so be sure to visit each of the blogs in this hop and leave a comment for a chance to win. The next stop will be to see the beautiful card by Kerry Urbatch www.thestampingbug.blogspot.com/.
All these products can be purchased from Joan's Gardens.
