Heartfelt Creations September Collection

I am so excited to tell you about the  Heartfelt Creations new collection of stamps and dies you can now order from Joan's Gardens.  The September release is the  Delicate Asters Collection; this collection is stunning and the paper color combinations are unbelievable.  As you know, I love working with flowers so this collection of stamps, dies and gorgeous design paper made me a happy camper!

I decided to create a "birthday" box for my first project.   This box is 6" x 6".  I used a piece of the gorgeous Delicate Asters design paper for the top, then used the Delicate Asters PreCut Set to stamp  the different size flowers to create my flowers.  They were die cut using the matching "Delicate Asters Dies".  The design paper with this collection is so gorgeous I almost hated to cut into it, but I did and what a beautiful background.  There are two flowers on the piece I used and I then created dimensional flowers to attach over the ones in the design paper.  I used "Concord Grape" Distress Inks to water color the petals and the leaves.  I also love butterflies and there are two beautiful butterflies in the "Delicate Asters & Butterflies PreCut set"; I used just one of them on my box.  The corners are from Cheery Lynn.

This is another view and I hope you can see the dimension of the flowers and leaves.

This view shows the sides of the box and of course I had to decorate the inside.  In the 12"x12" pack of design paper, there are sheets that have a lot of squares with the beautiful flowers and great sentiments.  Rather than stamping a sentiment I just cut out one of the squares and attached it to a Cheery Lynn Frame.

Here you can read the sentiment better.

I used another piece of the design paper for the bottom of the inside of the box.  On the outside of the box, I cut panels for each side out of a different sheet of the design paper,  then attached the Memory Box "Valencia Border" over it.

I'm sure you will love this Delicate Aster collection.  Be sure to go over to Joan's Gardens to check out the price on the "I Want It All" collection.
