Joan's Gardens Weekly Challenge

It is time for another weekly challenge at Joan's Gardens.  This week we want you to create a card with four layers using green and ivory.  Also use only a stamped image and a sentiment.  Very easy isn't it.

I really love this stamped image, don't you!   But then you knew I would say that, didn't you.  There is not a flower I don't like.  This is a new stamp by Impression Obsession and was so easy to color.  I used Distress Markers to blend color only the ends of each petal and then shaded two greens on the leaves.  Very quick and easy but I think created a beautiful card.  The sentiment I used is from the new JustRite "Vintage Rose Medallions" stamp set.  The background was embossed with the Sizzix "Corners & Lattice" embossing folder.

I'm at Joan's house today and we are going out for a  fun day of shopping, stopping for lunch, then more shopping.  We have never had time to just go out and have fun together, so this is a real treat for me.

I hope you will join us this week in this easy challenge.  You should go over to Joan's Blog to see all the challenge rules and to see what the prize will be for this week.  If you are not already, I know you will want to be in that drawing at the end of the year for the $100 gift certificate to Joan's Gardens
