Joan sent me another very pretty wreath from Memory Box that I had fun designing with it today. This is the Catalina Wreath (98189). I die cut the wreath using green card stock then die cut it two more times using two different shades of pink card stock so I could add the colored flowers. I added punched stamens to the center of all the flowers.
The background is a piece of designer paper from the Echo Park "Country Drive" paper pad. I used the Cuttlebug "Swiss Dots" embossing folder to emboss the top portion of it. Swiss Dots just seem to always go with lacy designs, don't you think. Do you remember a couple of months ago I showed you how many different doilies I could get out of one of the Cheery Lynn dies. I used the "Sophia's Heart" (DL 184) and had a lot of different size doilies out of that one die cut. Well I used parts of that doily for this card. One section of that in on the bottom layer, then on top of that is one of the Spellbinders "Lacy Circles" dies. Then another piece of that "Sophia's Heart" doily was placed on top of that solid circle. You can see the pretty heart in the middle of the "Sophia's Heart" in the center of the wreath.
To dress up the bottom of the card, I use the Poppy Stamps "Bubble Daisy Border". Kaiser Craft Pearls were added to the center of each daisy. Oh no! I just noticed that the pearl in the center daisy came lose and is up on the petal! Easy to fix! On the upper corners I added the Cheery Lynn "Lace Corner Deco F" (B166) corners. To complete the card I tucked in a few Martha Stewart branches around the flowers on the wreath.
All the newest Memory Box and Poppy Stamps have recently been posted at Joan's Gardens. Be sure to go over and check them all out. They are all so beautiful.

SO beautiful Selma and I love how you've created the 'colored' flowers by die cutting another wreath ... great idea ... I'll be doing that real soon for a project I'm working on! Just the PERFECT idea for what I'm doing!
