Coral Roses

Today I have created another card using the Marianne Design Anji Corner (LR0200) and Anji Edge (LR0202).  I used two corner dies and cut both corners at one time. I want to let you know that I almost always use the "CuttleHUG" when I die cut.  It is a metal shim that helps to get a better cut, especially on detailed dies.  This card is 5.5" square, so the two Anji corners were taped down along the top of the card, and the edge of the corners met right in the center.  You need to be sure and tape them down with removable tape before die cutting so they don't slip.  Once you cut them, run them through your die cutting machine with the rubber mat to get the embossing.

The Anji "Edge" was die cut on a separate piece of card stock, embossed and cut off on each side then attached over the piece with the die cut corners.  I decided not to add color under the open spaces.

In the center of the card I added the Memory Box "Quinn Flourish" (98267).  Four green vines were die cut using the My Favorite Things (MFT) "Leafy Flourish".  Several of them were cut apart to add small portions of them under the roses.  The salmon roses were pulled out of a box of flowers I previous created and a couple of Marianne "Leaves" (LR0156) were tucked in under the roses.  The three butterflies were die cut using the Cheery Lynn "Mini Butterfly" (DL112) dies.

Hope you are having a great weekend.
