Tonight I am posting a card made with Gina K's "Spring Mix" StampTV kit stamp set. The style of card is different than any I have posted. It is a 5.5 x 4.25 inch card but the front panel was cut off in the middle. I created this card tonight and I apologize for the poor quality of pictures. The lighting is terrible. An embossed panel was placed on the top panel of the card with a narrow strip of cs placed on each side of it. Two large scalloped ovals were cut out with Nesties. The top piece was cut again with a smaller scallop Nestie to create a frame to place over the bottom piece. The image was colored on the solid stamp using markers. Two shades of purple are on the flower. The image was then sprayed with a fine mist of water to blend the colors then cut out with another Nestie. The left side of this oval was attached to the card. On the inside a piece of white card stock was embossed with the Dotted Swiss embossing folder and added. The verse was stamped then cut out with a slightly smaller scallop oval and attached below the oval on top. Liquid pearls were added to complete the card.

Selma, beautiful card and great ideas. I love how you split the two pieces of paper and used different embossing folders on them. Everything about this card is stunning!

I love this card Selma. You are so creative. Love how you use the embossing folders on your cards. I should start doing that more but my cards are always 6 x 6 and I can't get the darn paper embossed to fit the card....LOL
Thanks for stopping by to visit today and the sweet comment. Ingrid has some great blog layouts and they are free. There is a link on my blog if you'd like to check them out. Of course, this one has my favorite colors in it.
