Beautiful Heartfelt Creations Wedding Dove

I have another card created with the new Heartfelt Creations Wedding Collection.  This beautiful dove is from the (HCPC 3399) "Wedding Dove PreCut Set".  The card is 5.5" square.  A piece of white vellum was cut 5.5" by  8.5" (cut one sheet of vellum in half length wise).  Use the Martha Stewart "Floral Vine" punch to create the border on the bottom of the vellum.  This is a large punch and you can only punch it twice.  Stamp and white emboss the dove above the punched border on the right side (see photo).  Color the flowers and leaves on the back side of the vellum with dye based markers (such as Memento).

Place the punched edge of the vellum along the bottom of the card then measure about one inch higher than card with a pencil and cut it off on that line.  Mark exactly where the fold is on the top of the card and score across the vellum using the ScorPal.  Use bone folder to crease score line well. (You want the vellum to fold over to the back of the card)   Only add tape to the top back of the card so it doesn't show in front.  I placed ScorTape along the fold line on the back of the card and slid the card into the vellum, pressing down when in place.

A Marianne "leafy flourish" (LR0150) was used to cut the green vellum on the left side of the dove.  Using the (HCPC 3303) "Posy Patch Flowers PreCut Set, the smallest posy was white embossed on pink vellum then cut out with the matching die.  These posies were placed on the green vine and one on the dove.  A border was punched with the Martha Stewart "Doily Lace" punch on another piece of white vellum and place over the top of the card.    A narrow pink ribbon and bow were added along the top.

All the Heartfelt Creations stamps, as well as all other products used on this card can be purchased from Joan's Gardens

Note:  Some of you have been asking about my daughter.  Her doctor had an emergency trauma and was in surgery all night and had to cancel her surgery last Tuesday.  She was scheduled for 7:30 am.    Her surgery is  now scheduled for June 16.  I told her you were all praying for a successful surgery and she was very touched and asked me to thank you.

I'm always amazed at how quickly you are able to get your cards and altered products done. You are not only very creative - but very efficient too. May I borrow some of that? LOL
