Let It Snow Box

I have another gift box for you.  This is another project I created for  Heartfelt Creations.   I started off with a box I box on clearance last year after Christmas.  Two sizes of the Labels Seventeen Nestabilities were cut to layer under the snowman. The top layer is a piece I created using colors in the box to make a sheet of “Polished Stone” paper.  The colors really turned out perfect to match the box. The bottom layer is yellow card stock and was sponged with Tim Holtz Distress Ink prior to taking it out of the die – again to match the box. The snowman was stamped and colored using Copic markers. Rhinestones were added to the holly and a little glitter around the edge of the scarf and holly. A second bird was stamped and cutout with matching die to add dimension. The image was stamped again on yellow card stock and the scarf was sponged with Tim Holtz distressed ink, cut out and attached only under the neck of the snowman. The snowman was attached with dimensionals.   One each of the Heartfelt Creations snowflakes  were stamped, using gold glittery embossing powder, and cut out with matching dies. They were attached with dimensionals and a gold rhinestone added to the center. The verse, from the snowflake stamp set was stamped with black Memento ink.

Be sure to go over and visit the Heartfelt Creations Blog for a lot of inspiration.  A lot of new cards/projects, created by the designers,  were posted this morning.

Why don't I ever think to use those boxes and decorate them? I just sort of collect them and stash them because they are cute!
