This is the tree die used. This tree die set also comes with the dies to trim the tree and dies for the gift boxes.
To create this "full" branched evergreen, die cut 4 trees. I like to die cut using white card stock so I can sponge on the exact color I want.
If using white card stock, use a marker to color the tree trunk, and
sponge on green ink over all of it. This is a delicate die, so it is
best to pounce on the color so you don't tear off the branches.
Cut the trunks off the three trees that will be layered behind the top
tree. Add dimensional tape to the trunk of the tree that will be on top
and two others.
Add the tree with the trunk on top, slightly lower, alternating branches, and you will have a nice full tree.
Tree when all four layers are attached.
Have fun decorating your tree with the trims provided in this set. The star at the top of the tree was die cut from the Happy Birthday PopUp set.
Die cut the presents using different pieces of design paper and place below the tree
.
The Garden Notes Carolina Window & Shutters die was used to die cut the window. It was die cut using white card stock and lightly sponged with Tea Dye Distress Ink, around the edges. I used a piece of design paper from my stash to cut out the Santa and attached it behind the window, attaching the window with dimensional tape over the Santa.
Add Sentiment Stickers and Corners to complete card.
Have fun decorating your Christmas Tree.

luv CHRISSYxx
Dear Selma,
God bless your creative hands! Your projects are always inspiring for those of us who make our own cards, and your generosity in sharing the techniques you’ve developed is nothing short of amazing. I’ve learned a great deal by following your blog.
As you did, I became addicted to making cardstock flowers when Susan Tierney Cockburn published her first book demonstrating the use of punches for this purpose; her cutting dies have added so much more to the repertoire. My feeling is that she develops the wonderful tools and basic methods for flower design, but you add another dimension by refining the construction and application of all the blossoms and foliage.
Your designs also inform your followers of tools and supplies that are new to the market and assist others in choosing the purchases to make. Newer/better is always a temptation to crafters---but that’s another story.
Thank you again for your extraordinary contribution to the paper crafting community.
Warm regards,
Claire
So pretty, Selma! Love this one. You are so creative!
This tree reminds me of my own tree. The more you add, the better it looks. This turned out just lovely Selma! I love how you think outside the box!
Wow Selma really love it.
Hugs,
Erna
