I have been so excited to show you the new collection from Heartfelt Creations called "Decorative Basket Collection". This collection features classic basket images that will be a "go to" set time after time. You can arrange endless styles of flowers into these baskets, use them for party favors, harvest baskets, Christmas baskets...the possibilities are endless. This collection features 5 new precut stamp sets and one exclusive Heartfelt Creations die manufactured by Spellbinders.
I have had so much fun designing different things with this collection. You can see all the stamps and dies in this collection at Joan's Gardens along with some of my projects using these stamps. One of the cards Joan has on her blog is just a " partial peek" of one of my cards. She loved it so much she asked me to do a tutorial on how I did it. I will tell you it is another Shadow Box with a new technique. Please be sure to check back next Sunday when I will publish a tutorial on how I created this pretty shadow box using stamps from this new Heartfelt Creations Collection.
Here is a partial view of the shadow box I will do a tutorial for on Sunday.
For the card I'm posting today I wanted to work with vellum. The basket was white embossed on white vellum card stock. The basket was backed with blue card stock to add color to it. This is the basket full of flowers "Botanical Floral Basket PreCut Set" (HCPC 3412). Isn't it a beautiful basket of flowers. I wanted to create a dimensional card (does that surprise you?) so I used the "Botanical Floral 2 PreCut Set" (HCPC 3407) to add layered flowers to the basket and also to add a few extras on the card. Pink Vellum was used and the two smallest flowers in this set were white embossed and cut out using the matching Spellbinders "Rose Creations Shapabilities" dies. A "Mini Sun" punch was used to create the stamens out of white card stock. Pearls were added in the center of each.
The additional vellum leaves are from the Heartfelt Creations "Leaf Medley PreCut Set" (HCPC 3405). They were white embossed on white vellum paper and cut out with the matching Spellbinders "Foliage Shapeabilities" dies. It is so fun to work with all the Heartfelt Creations stamps because most of them have matching Spellbinders dies, which makes it so fast and easy to cut out any of the designs you want to make dimensional. The small "Fern" behind the flowers is also a stamp, with matching die, from the "Leaf Medley" stamp set.
A small piece of design paper was placed on the left side of this 5.5" pink, square card. The lattice was die cut using the Cheery Lynn "Lattice #2" die (FRM115). A lighter piece of blue design paper was attached to the back of the lattice . A piece of the Spellbinders "Parisian Accent Border" was added along the top. A small blue bow was added to the flowers going up the left side of the card.
I'm sure you will enjoy creating lots of beautiful things with these new Heartfelt Creations stamps and the matching basket dies. You can see the whole collection over at Joan's Gardens, along with some other cards I have designed with these stamps.
In case you don't know, Joan has a big sale going on this week at Joan's Gardens. New items are being added daily -- it's a great time to add lots of those great stamping products you have been wanting, at a great savings!!!
