Happiness is a Butterfly

 Happiness is a Butterfly and working with the new Heartfelt Creations Classic Sunflower Collection.  For this card I used one of the 6x6 card fronts from the  Classic Sunflower Paper Collection.  On a piece of white card stock I stamped the sunflower from the Sunflower Stem PreCut Set.  It was colored with Copic Markers and cut out with scissors.  To make it dimensional, I added one of the sunflowers I created with the Classic Sunflower PreCut Set, over the large stamped sunflower. The flower was attached with dimensional glue dots over a piece of woven trim.  The butterfly above the tag is also a stamp in the Sunflower Stem PreCut Set, and the tag is from the Paper Collection.  Did you notice the ladybug on the leaf?  That little guy is die cut from the Classic Sunflower PreCut set.  I colored it then shaped it, from the back (cupped it), to make him round, then coated it with Glossy Accents.  I think they are so cute.

Can you see the little ladybugs in the Classic Sunflower PreCut Set?  They are also cut out when you use the matching die for this stamp.

    This newest sunflower collection is quite lovely. Love your flowers! The ladybug is a delightful addition. The leaves on the die do seem a bit too small for the flowers. I think I'd go for a larger leaf from another collection. Lovely jeans pocket paper!

    I think this card is just amazing Selma with that beautiful sunflower popped on top of the gorgeous stamped image. And those butterflies are simply the perfect addition to top off your wonderful card. I love the little Lady Bugs as they are another of my favorites that go right along with the sunflowers. After hearing the story about Susan Tierney-Cockburn & how she has made them her little signature touch it touched me deeply. I was at my daughters in the middle of winter in Virginia the day they delivered my "ladybug pearl pen set" to her house & when I opened the viva pens I happened to look outside her window & it had real live ladybugs all over her window pane inside. It gave me goosebumps & I went downstairs & made a real looking lady bug on a leaf on her Christmas Cactus that was just beginning to bloom. I told her the story & told her when I went back home to Montana I was leaving a little angel to watch over her & my grandson. Sorry I didn't mean to carry on so I just love your cards & they have a soft place in my heart.
