It is time for more ideas from the Heartfelt Creations Alumni Design Team. There are six designers participating in this month's blog hop. If you came from Olga Jewell's Blog, you started at the beginning.
I am always anxious for this time of year because we can start looking forward to all the beautiful flowers of Spring. I was excited to use one of my very favorite Heartfelt Creations floral stamps. It is the "Dutch Iris Oval PreCut Set (HCPC 3371). It is the most gorgeous Iris stamp, don't you think! I stamped the image using Memento black ink and colored it with colored pencils and oms. I love purple and yellow iris! The iris from the "Dutch Iris Medley PreCut Set" (HCPC 3373) was stamped and die cut using the Heartfelt Creations matching "Dutch Iris Die" (HCD 711). It was colored the same way then cut apart so that different petals could be attached with pop-dots to make it look very dimensional. It looks like a real flower! Along the left side I have added a portion of the Heartfelt Creations "Decorative Lace Border" (HCD 713). The background was embossed with a Marianne Cut and Emboss folder (DS0908) and under the top of the iris is the pretty die cut corner from the Heartfelt Creation "Decorative Butterfly - Border" die set (HCD 702). The sentiment is from the Heartfelt Creations "Inspire Me Sentiments Precut Set" (HCPC 3363). It was cut out with a Spellbinders "Fancy Tags Two" Tag. A lavender silk bow was added to complete the card.
The next stop is Carla Suto. Be sure to visit all the blogs in this blog hop. One lucky person will receive a $25 Gift Certificate to Heartfelt Creations. The winner will be randomly selected from comments left the designer's blogs, so be sure to leave a comment on all six blog posts. The winner will be announced Saturday, March 3.
You can purchase all the products I use from Joan's Gardens.
