Today it is snowing like crazy and I guess I am wishing for the sun to come out, so I created a yellow card. Looks like we have snow in the forecast for two days!!!!
This is a 5.5" x 6" card. The background was embossed with the Marianne (DS0914) cut and emboss folder. I have not used this embossing folder before and I love it. Joan's Gardens does have these folders in stock. The flowers were created with the Cheery Lynn "Sweet Williams" (DL137) die. The centers for the flowers were created with the Memory Box "Fringed Border" (98266). This is a fringed border die that you roll and was perfect for the center for these flowers. The pretty flourish is the Cheery Lynn "Victorian Romance Flourish" (DL151). It was cut in half so I could place each side of the flourish right where I wanted them. The pretty leaves are the Marianne (LR0156) leaves. In the center of the card I used the small round doily that is part of the Cheery Lynn "Nautical Wheeler Doily" (DL180). In the center of that doily, I added a Spellbinder scalloped circle and sponged the center before taking it out of the die. The sentiment is from the JustRite "Always and Forever Medallion Labels" stamp set. In the upper right corner I added one of the new Cheery Lynn corners "Lace Corner Deco F" (B166). I am so excited that Joan now has all the new Cheery Lynn corners. There are three to a package and all of them are beautiful. You will want to check them out on her blog. To complete the card Kaiser Craft yellow pearls and a silk bow were added.
As you know, all the products I use can be purchased from Joan's Gardens.

ReplyDeletePlease don't send the snow this way. We are having 70 degree weather this week.
