New Heart Die Sets

Happy New Year!  Today is a happy day for the Die Cut Design Team for Elizabeth Craft Designs.  We have been working with the new dies that will be released later this month.  As of today, the designers will be posting projects we have been creating with the new die sets. Valentine's Day is not far off, so we are sharing ideas using the new release heart die sets.  The dies I used for this card include Scalloped Hearts, Leafy Hearts, Entwined Hearts.

This is a 6 inch square card.  Cut a piece of Time for Teal Soft Finish Card Stock 5 3/4" square for the front.

Use the largest Scalloped Heart die, and die cut a white heart using white card stock. Attach it to the front of the card.

Use the Leafy Hearts die set an die cut the solid Heart using the Time for Teal Card Stock and Soft Sky Card Stock for the Leafy Heart. Glue the two pieces together.

Use the Entwined Hearts die set and die cut the five small white hearts.  Attach them as shown.

Use the Love Sentiments die set and die cut two "xoxo", using white card stock.  Attach them to the bottom of the card.

Use the Dancing Butterflies die set and die cut two butterflies that are facing to the right.  Use white card stock that has Clear Double Sided Adhesive so you can add glitter.  Peel off the covering on the adhesive and add Soft Teal Glitter.  Do not put glitter on the body of one of the butterflies.  You are going to glue the two butterflies together and if you don't add glitter on the body of the lower one, they will attach better. As you can see in the picture above, the single die cut butterfly now looks dimensional with two sets of wings. Attach the butterfly to the heart.

Elizabeth Craft Designs will be adding many new products this month and I hope you will check them all out in the "Coming Soon" section of the list of products.

I just love all the hearts you have used. My stash only has a couple of hearts ... guess I need to purchase some!
