Happy

I hope you are having a nice weekend.  Today I have created a 5x7" card using Kraft card stock.  Using a separate piece of Kraft card stock, I used the Els van de Burgt Studio Tags & More 9 - Sparkle die, to cut the design at the top of the card.  A slate blue card stock was attached behind the die cut opening.

One of Els Stitched Ovals was die cut using the slate blue card stock then a smaller Fitted Oval die used to die cut a piece of Els Through The Lens - Wood card stock.  These two pieces were glued under the die cut in the Kraft card stock.

To create the flowers, I used Susan's Garden Notes Daffodil dies and die cut three daffodils, three stems, and extra leaves.  They were arranged on the oval frame as shown.

The A Way With Words "Happy" was die cut using that die from the Happy Anniversary die set.  The sentiment was die cut three times and glued together to create dimension.  It was glued over the base of the flowers.  On the bottom corners of the card, I glued two of the discarded pieces from the top die cut, just to interest.

This card was created to let someone know I am happy about something that happened to them.

The following supplies can be purchased from Elizabeth Craft Designs:
