Recycled Halloween Treat Container

Do you have someone you like to give something special to for Halloween?    I want to give this treat box to my grandson and I know he will love this cute "Dancing Skeleton".   For the box, I used a Country Time Lemonade container and covered it with Halloween design paper from Authentique. This is a great size container for a good variety of Halloween treats!   I love all these new Halloween dies from Memory  Box;  also included is the Memory Box "Ghost Trio, Dangling Spider, and Swooping Bats.

On the lid is attached three sunflowers I created with the Cheery Lynn "Sunflower" and "Build A Flower #2 Embellishment" dies.  Raffia was used to tuck in around the flowers and then the bats were attached with small glue dots to pieces of the raffia that were sticking up. It was really hard to get a good picture!

Just for fun for this photo, I created the pumpkins for additional decoration around my decorated box; they were created by gluing Spellbinders scallop ovals and circles together.  Each scallop or circle was folded in half and glued together to create the shape.  The leaves are from the Cheery Lynn "Small Leaves".  They were colored with Distress Inks.

Hope you have fun creating special treat boxes for your favorite Trick 'o Treaters.
