Angel Trumpet Flowers and Hummer

As you open the card you see this border

This is the inside of the card

I have had an extremely busy day and did not have time to do any stamping, so I am posting one of the cards I created for Heartfelt Creations.  These are the Heartfelt Creations stamps I used:  HCPC 3362 Angel Trumpet Flower PreCut Set; 1186G Petunia and Hummer; HCPC 3363 Inspire Me Sentiments PreCut Set

This is a tri-fold card and fits into a business size envelope   The overall measurement of the card is 8.5 x 10.5 inches. On the 10.5 inch side, score at 3 and 7 inches. This will leave you with one panel 3.5 inches. Use a bone folder to crease score lines. You will have a 4 inch wide card. The smallest panel will be the front of the card. Stamp the Angel Trumpet Flowers on a small piece of card stock. To color the designs on this card, I used some pearlized pencils and blended with OMS. Stamp and color the hummingbird. Cut both designs out with scissors. The edge of the front was punched with the Martha Stewart “Deco Shells” border punch. A 2.5 x 8.5 inch piece of white card stock was cut and the top portion embossed with the Cuttlebug “Leafy Branch” embossing folder. The embossing is only on the top portion so the greeting was stamped on the lower portion of this piece. Attach this piece to the front of the card. Two narrow dark purple strips of card stock were cut and one was added under the punched border and the other on the left side of the card, overlapping a bit of the embossing. The trumpet flowers were attached over the embossed leaves with regular adhesive. The hummingbird was attached with dimensional tape.

For the panel on the inside of the card, the Petunia and Hummer border was stamped and colored the same as the designs on the front. The flowers are not exactly the same but look very well together. Another border matching the top of the card was punched on a narrow piece of white card stock. Two more narrow purple strips were cut. The punched border was attached on the back of one of the strips and added to the right of the stamped image. The other purple strip was added along the edge of the card. One more narrow purple strip was added on the right side of the card.

When the card is fully opened, the Petunia and Hummer border is stamped on the two outside panels with purple ink. A light purple piece of card stock was added to the center and left blank for the written message.
