Cozy Winter Days

I have been posting a lot of cards created with Heartfelt Creations stamps to give you lots of inspiration for the Joan's Gardens 25th Challenge tomorrow.  As I mentioned before, the grand prize for this challenge is a gift package donated by Heartfelt Creations worth over $286.  The challenge will require that you use only Heartfelt Creations stamps to be eligible to win. You are going to have lots of chances to win a great prize.  In addition to the grand prize, there will also be three prize packages from Joan's Gardens,  so you won't want to miss this challenge.

Today I am posting another card I created for the Heartfelt Creations blog. I love designing for Heartfelt Creations - aren't the stamps beautiful!   The image is another stamp from the newly released Winter Scene collection.  The stamp set is: HCPC 3356 Cozy Winter Days PreCut set.   It was stamped with black Memento ink and colored using Colored Pencils and oms. The top portion was embossed with the Cuttlebug Dotted Swiss embossing folder. The design was matted on to a piece of dark gray card stock. The edges of the mat were distressed.

This is a 5x7” card. A piece of white card stock was first embossed with the Cuttlebug Dotted Swiss embossing folder. I then embossed the left side with Tim Holtz “Tall Pines” embossing folder. This piece was placed on a black mat.  The Cozy Winter Scene was attached and a black gingham bow and a few punched snowflakes added to complete the card.

I hope you have your Heartfelt Creations stamps so you can join in on the Joan's Gardens challenge this week.  You won't want to miss out on a chance to win this fabulous prize donated by Heartfelt Creations.

I thought I would give you a weather update -- we have about two feet of snow and it is still snowing!  This storm has broken all records for the most snowfall in November.   Hope the rest of winter doesn't break all records.

See you tomorrow.
