Spring Is Here

A funny thing happened today.  I was sitting in the car, while my husband was talking to a mechanic, and saw "things" flying around.  I thought they must be bees but they looked too small.  They started landing on the windshield.  Guess what they were;  ladybugs flying everywhere.  Needless to say, that is the inspiration for today's card.

The stamps used are from Penny Black.    The flower stamp was colored on the rubber with markers then stamped on Glossy card stock. It was cut out with a deckle Nestie.  The hedgehog was colored with Koh-i-noor pencils and OMS and then cut out.  The grass is cut with a Martha Stewart punch.  The hedgehog was attached with adhesive behind the grass then two ladybug buttons were added at each end.  A black marker was used to draw a border around the edge and three black pearls were added to complete the card.

We had beautiful weather today and with the ladybugs out, Spring must be here finally!

All products, except buttons, were purchased from Joan's Gardens.

What a cute card Selma. Great job on creating the scene. I love it and the colors you've chosen! Amazing what we notice when we are relaxing and enjoying God's beauty.

I've got candy if you get a chance to stop by.
