6x6 Box and Webster Pages

Yesterday I told you I would be working with some of the other Webster's Pages products that I just received from Joan's Gardens.  Today I have covered a black box using Webster's  Life's Portrait/Lullaby Baby 6x6 paper Pack.  These paper packs have two sided papers which makes it really easy to coordinate on your project.  The piece used on the top of the box has the pattern from the backside of that page cut out and attached to the side panels.  There are two sheets of each design in the pack.

The top of this box had an opening so I placed the 6x6 paper on top of the lid and traced the opening from the inside so I could cut it out.  A metallic gold pen was used to go around the opening to give it a finished look.  Since I had the gold on the lid, I chose a piece of trim from Webster's Life's Portrait Trims to go around the top edge of the box.  This was attached with Scor-tape.  Butterflies were punched out with a Martha Stewart Punch in textured card stock and attached with a thin line of liquid glue.

The flowers and leaves on the top of the box are some that I made out of vellum.  A small pearl was added to the center of each flower and also on the bottom of the lid.  If you would like to make the flowers, you can follow my tutorial here.  Since this is a 6x6 box, it was easy to insert another sheet of the Webster's pages to the inside bottom of the box.

All products used in this project can be purchased from Joan's Gardens.

I plan to use this 6"x6" box for cards I have made for a gift.  It was very easy to create and I love how it turned out.  As I said yesterday, I am loving all the new Webster's products I just purchased from Joan.  She has a lot of new Webster's Pages items I'm sure you will want to check out.

Fantastic creation Selma! I see you used those wonderful velum flowers you made on this. It really adds to the creation.
I tried making those last night, or should I say early this morning, but mine sure didn't turn out near as good as yours...
Thanks for sharing!
