Pink Daisy

Hope all of you enjoyed the CSS blog hop last night.  There were so many beautiful Christmas cards posted.  I want to thank all of you for commenting on my cards.

Today I have been working on some thank you cards and thought I would post one of them.  I love this stamp.  It is called Blush by Penny Black.  I purchase my Penny Black stamps from Joan's Gardens

As you can see this is a CAS (clean and simple) card.  The white card stock was embossed on the left side with a Cuttlebug embossing folder then two lines embossed using the ScorPal.  The daisy was inked with markers on the rubber.  I first used a yellow marker in the center then a light shade of pink then highlighted with a darker pink  starting from the center pulling out toward the ends of each petal.  A green marker was used on the stem and leaves.  Then I sprayed with a very fine mist to blend the colors.  It was then stamped onto the card front.  The SU salutation was stamped in black.  This piece was then attached to pink card stock to coordinate with the flower.

This is so pretty Selma, love CAS card! Looking at this I realize I have this stamp, bought it about a year ago and have NEVER used it. Shame, shame...I know. Lovely job on this and you have inspired me to get mine inky this week! :o)
