Feel The Magic

This is my second post today so be sure and scroll down to see the first one before leaving. I had not intended to make two posts but couldn't resist. Today I received my order from Gina K Designs. This is a special package because it included the new Showtime Stamp Kit, "Holiday Cheer". If you haven't purchased one of Gina's kits, you need to check them out. You receive two stamps sets, lots of card stock, ribbons, brads, and this one even included some of the clear boxes she worked with on her last tutorial. There are lots of other new stamp sets now available so I hope you will get them out in her store.

Everything I used on this card is from Gina K Designs. The reindeer and trees are from the "Holiday Cheer" set; the verse is from the Showtime "Holiday Greetings" set (which is also in the kit) and Melanie's "window" from her new Hip to be Square" set.

The card stock used was in the kit and is called "Rocket Red" and "All Spruced Up". They are beautiful colors for Christmas cards. I piece of white card stock was embossed on the top 2/3 with the Cuttlebug Dotted Swiss embossing folder and layered on a piece of green CS. To create the image, I started by stamping the "window" from Melanie's set "Hip to be Square". I placed a piece of Post-it Note along the bottom edge and stamped the trees. I used markers to color right on the rubber. I then colored the reindeer with markers making the deer tan, the stars dark yellow, and the antlers grayish tan. The square was cut out and layered on a piece of red then green card stock.

The ribbon was in the kit and matches the card stock perfectly. The verse was stamped using green ink then cut out with a scallop petite circle Nestability. It was attached using a dimensional then a small red rhinestone added in the center. To finish off the card I added some Polar White Flower Soft.

My next project is going to be making one of the cute Nugget Pillow Boxes from her tutorial on StampTV.

Be sure to check out these great new sets available from Gina K Designs.

I absolutely LOVE this card Selma and it may convince me to buy Gina's newest kit. I've got to check it out first.
