Penny Black Sunflowers

Today I have been out shopping with my daughter. She then had us over for dinner. Always nice not to have to cook! Since I have been gone all day, I had to hurry and make a card to post. Tonight I decided to make a "flower" card. I love these sunflowers from the Penny Black "Flower Gallery" stamp set. I got this set from Joan's Gardens. I noticed Joan has some of the new Penny Black Christmas stamps. I love Penny Black stamps and need to get my order in for my new Christmas stamps. The little hedgehogs are so cute and there is also a set with a beautiful angel. Be sure and check them out.

The background paper I used for the above card is from a DCWV "Fun in the Sun" Summer Matstack. The colors were perfect for a Fall card. I stamped three of the flowers with Black Memento ink and colored them with Copic markers. I always like the dimension when I cut out the flowers. It is so easy to place them right where you want them. They were attached with dimensional tape then I stuck in some of the fern type leaves that were punched in So Saffron with a Martha Stewart punch. The border was punched with the lattice Martha Stewart punch then embossed with one of the new Cuttlebug borders.

The verse is also in the Flower Gallery stamp set. It was cut out with Nestabilities and attached with dimensionals. The Kaiser, flat back pearls were also purchased from Joan's Gardens. A small bow was added to complete the card.
